“Space and light and order. Those are the things that men need just as much as they need bread or a place to sleep.”
– Le Corbusier
Veranda Resort Pattaya,MGallery by Sofitel has finally made its debut in Pattaya city, bringing a trendy beach vibe to Na Jomtien area.
Pattaya is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Thailand for both international tourists and Thai locals. Its reputation ranges from beach activities to nightlife entertainment.
Since the hotel’s public area is located below the ground surface, the design intention is revolved around the solutions to create an interesting hotel access and maximize space utilization.
The outcome is a long linear space starting from the road, inviting the visitors into the entrance hall and the hotel’s public facilities: spa, café, restaurant and the swimming pool. All of these public areas are thoughtfully designed to create natural ventilation and correlate with landscape design that can be seen continuously alongside the area.
The design concept of this project is “Stylish Beachlife” which has always been true to Veranda’s brand identity.
For Pattaya location, natural lines and forms are highly emphasized in the interior design part, especially in the public area where the ceiling is covered with recycled wood in the form of ocean waves, blending in with special water-effect wall tiles and unique art pieces. This resembles the underwater space, creating a trendy yet comforting, friendly atmosphere to the visitors.
There are 145 guest rooms in total which are comprised of 5 different room types that range from 43-136 sqm.: Seascape, Sea Breeze, Oceanfront, Family Pool Suite and Sky Pool Villa. The guest rooms are also designed in correlation to the public area, with clean lines and relaxing color tones with marine-life decorations.
Veranda Resort Pattaya offers visitors a quiet alternative for relaxation, whether their purpose is business or leisure. Intimate or luxuriously comfortable, the hotel blends warm hospitality with the visual pleasure of a distinctive, vivid décor and a picturesque seaside setting.
